The Belvedere is a traditional stone Victorian house built in1860 during the time when the village was expanding due to the lead mining industry in the 19th century. It has a long history of providing hospitality to visitors coming to Middleton-in-Teesdale.
It is situated centrally in the busy village and easy to find, with off-street parking available for those travelling in a car. It is close to all the local amenities, such as food and craft shops, tea rooms, restaurants and the medical centre. There is an hourly bus service to Barnard Castle.
